The European Debt Crisis Visualized

Feb. 12 (Bloomberg) — At the heart of the European debt crisis is the euro, the currency that tied together 18 countries in an intimate manner. So when one country teeters on the brink of financial collapse, the entire continent is at risk. How did such a flawed system come to be? Hidden Secrets of Money, Episode 4 – The Biggest Scam In The History Of Mankind (Debt Ceiling Truth)

Mike’s latest episode on Hidden Secrets of Money. He has done a great job in presenting our current monetary system in a simple and easy to understand way. I encouraged everyone to take time to view it and really understand the kind of system we are living in today. I will say the sooner you understand and know it, the sooner you can be prepared. This evil system is mend to trap common people without them knowing their wealth is being stolen secretly each day. Things will not change unless the system change. And the system will not change until more people are aware of it and decide not to participate in it (and change it).
Just a simple test to the current system, guess what will happen if there are lesser and lesser people taking up new debts (be it credit card or mortgage debts) from the banks. Or we have more saving deposits in the banks, or we are taking out deposits from the banks. What happens if no one is participating (or gambling) in the stock market. If you guessed it correctly, Yes, the system will malfunction. Plain simple.

China Calls for World to Be ‘De-Americanised’

China Calls for World to Be 'De-Americanised'

China Calls for World to Be ‘De-Americanised’

China has called on the World to remove US dollar as the reserve currency. It has been awhile that China is doing this, but this time the voice is louder, after the recent fiscal stalemate and partial US government shutdown.

Are we seeing the beginning of the end of US dollar as reserve currency? I believe yes. I believe we will see a new monetary system change. Although US is trying very hard to hold on to that position. Remember China has been busy signing direct currency swipe agreements with many countries bypassing the US dollars (Brazil, Australia, Turkey, UAE, Russia, UK, ECB, Ireland, Japan, UK, France and more to come).

Some have suggested to replace Euro as the reserve currency as it is more stable than the dollar. Others have pointed out to IMF special drawing rights as the best alternative to US currency domination. Some are speculating China’s hunger for gold is driven by it’s desire to have gold be the world’s next reserve unit of account.

Whatever the case it maybe, I think we are likely to see changes in the coming years.

Catastrophic … Nuclear Explosion …

Nuclear Explosion in the World of Debt

Nuclear Explosion in the World of Debt

The market now has turn its attention from US government shutdown to whether it can increase its debt ceiling in time to prevent a debt default. To me all these does not matter anymore, because whether you admit you are “sick” now or later, eventually you need to take your medicine. It is just that the process of cure and healing will be more painful at a later stage.

You see, until today we are still talking about taking on more debts to fix what is already broken. It is like you already max out your credit card (or cards), but you need the bank to extend your credit limit (debt limit, in this case of US) so that you can pay off your interests and daily spending bills.  This is the situation the world is in today. I can’t make myself to believe the propaganda out there that the economy is “healing”, when I still see jobs losses everyday (yesterday, Alcartel-Lucent will be shedding another 10,000 jobs), stagnant or declining wages for the common people.  It just don’t balance out …

One economist mentioned (on Bloomberg) what is going on in US today is not necessary, as the government can pay its debt, has the money, putting the blame on politician games. I was wondering from where? If you classified the “free” money you are printing every month (USD$85 billion each month, half of it goes to buying gov bonds), as money you have, then the more I feel this system is screwed and flawed. Warren Buffett described if US gov default its debt, it will be like Nuclear explosion. So what the market is saying we can’t change our current path (indefinite debt is the way to go) but to continue. But, for how long can this continue, and what is the price we need to pay, when we need to take our medication at later stage. Year 2008 was the crisis, 5 years has passed, but nothing has changed. What has changed, is the size of DEBT.
